Geethree has released a midi driver for the MIDI serial interfaces under OSX. I tried on my G3 beige and Miracle! my MOTU MIDI Express is seen by the soft, I have only to tell which port (modem or printer) and tell the number of MIDI outs. It works great and it recognize the best interfaces of the serial market. I used Logic 5.5 on X. Go for it!
