Rumor : Protools 6 (more) - macmusicWe get more info from our source: Protools 6 should be showed during AES show, next month. It should be released, as expected in december first week. LE versions should also be launched at the same time, except for the DIGI002. Our source confirmed that this will be an OSX version only, but that Mix cards will finally be supported (great!!!). Current TDM plug-ins will be compatible with protools 6 (some requiring a minor update) but RTAS plug-ins will need to be rewritten. Note that this version will fully support (and use) dual-processors macs.
