Lynx Studio Technology has announced that Aurora 16 sixteen-channel A/D D/A converter has been shipping to dealers over the last several weeks. The eight channel Aurora 8 converters have begun delivery the week of May 16. Lynx Aurora converters are now available through Lynx retailers in the US and distributors worldwide.
The eight-channel Aurora 8 has a US suggested retail price of $2195. $3295 is the US suggested retail price of the sixteen-channel Aurora 16.

Moog Music and the Orange Peel announce a three-day celebration of the theremin. Ether Music 2005 will be held in the home of Moog Music, Asheville, NC, from Thursday, August 4th through Sunday, August 7th. The event will include workshops, speakers and performances by incredible thereminists such as Pamelia Kurstin, Lydia Kavina, Barbara Buchholz, Armen Ra, and Barbez (featuring Pamelia Kurtsin).
