Steve Jobs started the show, talking about the latest products allready launched before: the latest G4, iPod Jaguar, Quicktime 6, Sherlock 3, RendezVous, Mail, AddressBook, iChat, iCal (free download from today) and iSync.
Steve also confirmed that starting from january 2003, all new macintosh will ONLY (!!!) boot on OSX (!!!).

From 10 to 14 september, Apple makes its show in Paris: Apple Expo. This year, MacMusic won't have a booth, but the team will do its best to report all new products and software introduced during the show. From tuesday 10, often refresh the MacMusic news page, and you should get live news and photos. ;-)

The first version of Logic Platinum for OS X is coming out. It will allow the users to use a single software package combining digital audio recording and editing, digital signal processing, software instruments, MIDI sequencing and music notation, on a next generation operating system.
OS X also contains the foundation for a new generation of potent music and audio applications. Many technologies necessary for such applications are already built-in, such as the "CoreMIDI", "CoreAudio", "Audio Units" standards, as well as support for high-resolution audio including 32 Bit floating-point data.
