Yamaha revealed a whole new family of mixers. The MGs range from a simple 10:2 to a 32:4:2 with digital effects, six models in all. Their aim is to be aggressively priced (no need to tell you who in Germany is in competition ;) while leaving all the features on for users and proves Yamaha commitment to analogue mixers. Elemental Audio Systems announced that Firium, Eqium, and Inspector will add support for Digidesign's RTAS plug-in format on the Macintosh. They had previously jumped into the OSX AudioUnits. All plug-in versions are included with purchase (VST Mac OS 9/X, AudioUnit, Mac RTAS, Windows VST). Well… Add MAS for me ;)
The Mac RTAS will be a free upgrade to owners of version 1.x of Firium and Eqium. Remember that Inspector full version is free for the moment!
