Spectralive NXT est un enhancer orienté mastering doté d'un nouveau moteur audio et d'un EQ semi-paramétrique typé analogique. Contrairement à d'autres enhancers, simulateur de tubes ou exciteurs d'harmoniques, Spectralive NXT ne rajoute pas d'harmoniques artificielles éliminant ainsi les sons pouvant devenir stridents ('hiss').
