I don't know the circumstances of the reviewer who describes this as 'unreliable', but I have been using the adapter for several years now and it is totally reliable and necessary on my system. Many plug-ins that would be otherwise lost to Logic (7.1.1 here) are available and stable using 1.50.02. I also know this to be true of many other users, perhaps this reviewer has problems with one of the very few problematic VST's (Antares are notoriously unstable)? Highly useful and recommended.

Quand je suis passé de Cubase à Logic en 2004, j'ai utilisé VST to AU pour récuperer mes samples et programmes Halion, ça n'a jamais fonctionné correctement, Logic crashait systématiquement, qu'on se le dise. Il a fallu que je reprenne tout programme par programme dans EXS 24.

C'était une excellente idée d'Apple de se débarasser du format propriétaire et merdique qu'est VST, mais quelque part, cet outil fabuleux nous permet d'utiliser les plug-ins qui n'ont pas été convertis au format AudioUnits par leurs fabriquants (pour des raisons politiques, bien-sûr). En attendant, ce convertisseur fait un excellent travail.
