Cherry Picker is an OS X application that allows you to open MOTU's FreeMIDI patch list files and edit them with a drag and drop interface. You can arrange patches in categories of your own choice, rename them, and audition them simply by clicking on them. You can assign midi files of your own choice as the files which will be played when you choose to audition them. Clicking on a patch name automatically assigns that sound in the external sound module or synthesizer, assuming that you have a functioning MIDI interface and that Cherry Picker has been correctly configured.
