Sample library manager
AudioFinder provide a user interface like the Mac OS X Finder that is optimized for browsing and auditioning audio sample files; it enables you to find any sound based on the file name.
AudioFinder can guess the BPM or the user can utilize the BPM Tap Pad to tap out the tempo. Once the BPM is found AudioFinder can rename the audio file to include the BPMAudioFinder supports the AIFF, AIFC, SD2, REX and WAV formats.
The Sample Extractor is a unique and powerful feature that will save you many hours of audio editing. While some professional sample CDs come in WAV or AIFF format the bulk are in Audio CD format, with each track containing multiple samples. In order to use the individual samples from Audio CD traditionally one would have to import the track and then open it in an audio editor application and manually find each sample section, cut it out and make a new file. AudioFinder's Sample Extractor automates the sample cutting and editing process so that sounds with multiple samples can be sliced into individual files almost instantly.

Mac OS X 10.6 or newer.
An Incredible program; the BEST shareware audio app ever, way beyond even "Pro" apps like ReCycle.... This new version is an outstanding GUI (Check the shaded waveform graphic!) and finder update to an exquisite and essential tool.
This tool is great. I just can say buy it!
Rename / Hear / Normalize / Extract Samples /....
So much in one program - I love that tool!
Fantastic tool, its "Power Rename" and "Extract" are essential and has many great batch processes. The recent addition of" trim and fade by percentage" provides me with a tool I have not found anywhere else to deal with large numbers of files with clicks on the beginning and ends. I don't of any other programmer as responsive to feedback as this guy. A great program that is constantly improving, the best $49 I have spent this year.
..waiting for mp3-abilities.
Great just need a powerfull loop editor !
You never sliced Audio CDs in such a elegant way
And you never listen to big Sampling CDs in such a short time
