Limiters
The L-Pack consists of two limiters: the L112 and the L212.
These two limiters are designed to be peak limiters. It has been proven through experimentation that transient peaks that last 10ms or less are barely perceivable by the human mind. Therefore, they can be taken out completely, leaving room for a greater dynamic range.
The L112 limiter is a digitally designed limiter that clips off the top of any audio above a certain threshold. It does have a wide ranged attack and release for most clippers, but using slower speed can allow unwanted transients through the limiter.
