Granular Synthesis
Density is a new interactive real-time program for asynchronous granular synthesis sound file granulation, to generate a wide range of effects: time/pitch shifting, pitch disintegration, time jittering, sound pulverizer, scrub pad exploration, dynamic envelope drawing etc… Interpolation- transitions and Hyper Vectorials pads, provide a powerful way to generate incredible sound objects. All parameters are controllable via MIDI learning/rescale.

. snapshots memory allocation up to 24 for each stream and 24 for the main mixer
. fast snapshots presets for store/recall
. simultaleously (streams and main) transition (interpolation), between two snapshots in a given time
. clients menage: include/esclude widgets from transitions
. four table to draw transitions curves
. micro-pad interpolating between four snaps
. HV_pad (i.e. hyper vectorial pad), combines 9 snapshots (multi dimensional) and provide auto-explore engine (spiral, dunk, reflects)
. MIDI Input mapping: learn/manual functions, range map/rescale, exponential curve
. MIDI Output sync: enable/disable, continuously/mouse up send
. shorts key for voices selection, dragging sliders etc...
. windows float/no float mode
. fully menaging the project, save/save as and load

I am really enjoying this conception of granular functions, each developer brings a different POV to make granular synthesis 'musical', hopefully while still being interesting/innovative and openly experimental...Density achieves and surpasses this on many levels (and I am an enthusiastic collector of variations on this method so have a deep context for saying that).
Overall great app and absolutely great value ;-)
