real-time audio file remixing, with randomization features
Sapling is a freeware standalone sound-mangling application designed for both live use and studio work. It can be used to remix up to four audio files simultaneously and features randomization options, stereo reverb, and three filtering types. Work done in Sapling can be recorded direct to disk for further sonic manipulation.

New with Sapling 1.1:
- On/off toggles for each individual file, with hotkeys
- Ability to save and load presets to and from disk
- Access to I/O settings
Great - fantastic. Really shows off the potential to throw together lovely little apps in the new Max/MSP 5 - even though I've *got* Max/MSP, I'll probably end up using Sapling instead some of the time, it just *so* does what it says on the tin.
