Gotta agree with tunepost on this. Albino's very stable, easy-to-use and sounds wonderful. It likes cpu tho once things get intensive.
I have found this plug to be the most usable noise maker I have purchased so far. I have some big and powerful soft synths, but none of them say, "put this sound here, and this one here" as easily and effectively as the Albino (I am using version 2). With many other programs, you get a zillion amazing sounds, but mix them up and you get a song with a proverbial 12 lead singers! Too much form and not enough function. Albino is function first. It is highly intuitive and the sounds are crystalline sweet and the arpeggiator is TOO easy to program. I have also found with this synth, that you can "digress" from the amazing presets and still retain a sound that is polished and immediately usable, even without any sound design experience. I can't say that of any other soft synth I have worked with. Normally, with every tweak, the quality of the preset is diminished. Not so with Albino (again, version 2). I have only been into computer music for around 3 or 4 years, so when I can get my head around a great sounding program, and make it happen fast - instant 5 stars. Oh, and the new GUI is enormously easy on the eyes. So, with all this considered, the price of Albino is almost unjust. But you did not hear me say that.
Blessings,
Damon
Amazing synth....the best I have purchased after logic 6
