Sorry I will disappoint you it sounds like all the other plugins.
The only plugins that sound decent are:D-Cam synth squad (FXpansion), Sylenth, Gladiator 2, Synplant and of course Virus TI.
So do not put your Roland Jupiter in the glass case or sale it on eBay.
This is by far the best sounding analog emulating plug-in I have the pleasure of owning. They call the model TAE (True Analog Emulation), and they are right. The J-8 version of TAE sounds better than their version of the Arp 2600. So put your Roland Jupiter 8 in a glass case, or sell it on eBay, because this plug-in has it all and more. The additional effects are not a cheap throw-in, as I admittedly suspected. The chorus is ultra smooth, warm and fat. The additional LFOs give the J-8 most of what it was missing. Besides, if you don't care about the extras you can just hide their interface and just program the J-8 exactly as you did the original. Only 4 stars because the AU version has a slightly buggy interface in Logic Pro 8. I'm sure it will be fixed in the next patch.
