MSBeatBox

Converts rhythms into pictures for use in Metasynth

MSBeatBox is an application to assist in creating rhythms for Metasynth. Sometimes it can be difficult to construct a rhythm in the image synth, as the process could involve a lot of clicking around... ie click note size, grid on and what size, color, repeat notes, etc, etc.. So MSBeatBox was born to help! Load up the "My Patterns" from the pattern load, load the default Kit and check it out!

It has a simple Drum Machine style interface where "cells" in each row represent notes on the canvas. Once a cell is clicked, a drawn note will appear in the canvas above the grid. You can then save the picture and import it into MetaSynth for further tweaking.
