Create Your Own Music Library

MyMusic lets you create your own music library. Is a powerful database program designed to help you maintain an inventory of your music collection.

    New Features :
  • Duplicate album. - Alt/Option-clicking the New button will now provide the capability to duplicate an entire album. Very handy if you have multiple copies of an album on different media.

  • Play MP3 Tracks from the Find Window. Just enter your search criteria and play directly from the Results list.

  • Create External SQL Logon. Now you can use any sql tool to access your MyMusic data (limited permissions). Just choose Create External SQL Logon from the Utilities menu and then logon from your favorite tool. This feature will allow you to publish your collection data via a web site and php or other tools that can access FrontBase data.


    • Changes :
  • Preference added to enable/disable sql logging for troubleshooting purposes.

  • SQL scripts now encrypted on disc for added security.


    • Bug Fixes :
  • Corrected Find menu item to correctly open the Find window.

  • Print to File now prompts on each Print for destination. This avoids overwriting previous report prints.

  • Corrected Cancel on custom sort options so that list is not sorted when user cancels selection.

  • Corrected More results on Cataloging window to return correct result counts from Amazon.com.

  • Updated Cataloging by Barcode to use EAN numbers for CA, DE, and JP versions of Amazon.com.

  • Track data now correctly ommitted from Amazon cataloging when selected by the user.

  • List View : The new List View window can be opened along side the standard Main View window. It allows quick navigation and a peak into your collection. Faster browsing of your collection for those who don't need to see everything all the time.

  • Amazon Search and The Wish List : The standard MyMusic Wish List has been replaced with the Amazon Search and Wish List window. The Amazon Search and The Wish List window includes functionality for searching and purchasing directly from Amazon.com. See the documentation for further information.

  • Filters and Enhanced Sorting : MyMusic now offers more options for sorting your collection. In addition you can filter your collection with just a few key strokes to more easily work with a limited subset of your entire collection.

  • Cover Art Manager - The new cover art manager allows you to manage multiple pieces of cover art for each album in your collection. See documentation for further details.

  • Amazon.com - MyMusic 2.5 has enhanced cataloging and wish list capabilities, allowing you to gather information and cover art from Amazon.com, or browse for and purchase items directly. (Note: Currently only United States supported, but more countries coming soon).

  • Reports - Many details have been corrected in the MyMusic reports. We have added new printing features from the List View and from the Find window that allow you to print only the records you want to see, in the order you want to see them.

  • Main View Tree List - The main view now has a drawer that can be opened which shows your collection in an easy to navigate, finder/explorer type view.

    version 2.2.3, MacOS X PPC
    The post for this says OS9 however it really shines in OSX 10.3 The new version 2.5 is due out very soon according to the developers and includes handy drawers, lookup of vinyl LP's enhanced shopping and I don't know what all else.
    I would rate it as excellent.
