Digital Audio Workstation for non-destructive audio editing
XO Wave is a digital audio workstation designed to meet the needs of audio and video professionals. Though still under development, XO Wave provides a wealth of features as well as a simple and elegant interface. Features include non-destructive recording, editing and mixing, real-time crossfades, fully configurable mixer, Quicktime and AVI synchronization and, of course, infinite undos.
CD burning is easy: just mark your tracks, create a master, and burn away. XO Wave also creates scripts for command-line burning of CDs for ultimate control. Also new in Beta 3 is an "Edit Softening" feature which lets you edit without having to worry about those annoying clicks that sometimes crop up in digital audio.

This release includes a number of bug fixes and adds two new utilities for reading metadata from burned CDs.
Fixed problem with track arm/disarm state appearing to change during playback.
Fixed problem with running out of memory when creating new threads.
Worked around (to the greatest extent possible) apple's bug in Latin-1 CD Text support.
Use Java 1.5 in Mac OS to avoid some issues with 1.4.
Updated copyright info.

This software is listed under sequencers, but it's a digital audio workstation (no midi) and CD Mastering workstation.

Je vais suivre le développement de soft de très pres. C'est déja parfaitement fonctionnel, ça ne m'a pas encore planté entre les doigts, la prise en main est relativement simple... EQ, COMP/LIM, petit delay/reverb rudimentaire. Un petit multipiste qui fait bien son job, gratuitement.
