Synthesizer
The minimoog V is a faithful reproduction of the Minimoog. Offering all the features of the original, the software version also brings polyphony, MIDI management, presets, coupled with other advantages of modern tools - behind the control panel are additional functions: a modulation matrix, an arpeggiator and an independent LFO as well as a stereo chorus and a delay.

Sound MAP: Explore hundreds of sounds using our revolutionary Sound MAP. Locate areas you like and pick a sound that will stimulate your creativity. Morph sounds on the MAP by clicking anywhere you like. Add filters to make your search easier, or get back to the traditional list of presets, by sound-designer or by type. Be creative, be funky, be a sound-traveller.
Vocal Filter: Did you ever think of making a Minimoog talk? Well we thought of it and came with a very exciting solution called the Vocal Filter. Sonic results can be spectacular, similar to those sounds from Kubrick movies.
Circuitry improvements: While we built around the core Minimoog structure, we also added a few options in the circuits. The Keyboard Follow can now be deactivated
on VCO2. In addition, we extended the modulation matrix and added a few sources and destinations. The Pan and Vocal Filter can now be used as destinations. Two random signals based on a Sample&Hold are added as inputs. We also allowed for using the voice number (from the polyphonic range) as a discreet source, which proved very interesting
to control different parameters.
Automation: What if a Minimoog offered automation - not as a control option but as a sound-design tool? Pick up to four parameters and record realtime changes within the preset. This is an entirely new sound palette that will arise, just by the traditional Minimoog scenery.

- Filter: The filter has the same sharp and precise sound as before, but now it is more agile and responds to envelopes and modulations faster than before. FM modulation on the filter is a good place to exploit this improvement.
- Oscillator: Square pulse width is now of 48 % by default, to be closer to the original, because most of the original Minimoog has an average pulse width of 48 %. You can tune the pulse width of the Minimoog V as before to 50 %, and the presets made with previous versions won't change.
- The ramp/triangle and triangle waveforms are now nearly indistiguishable form the original Minimoog. The pulse width modulation on these waveforms has also been extended. The Pulse Width Modulation on the ramp/triangle and triangle waveforms is an unique feature on the market, only possible with the minimoog V. It produces a very particular and sweet sound, especially on the ramp/triangle waveform.
- Unison mode : this mode is now more musical, with some fine-tuned inter-oscillator drifts to produce a fatter and larger sound, more trut to the original.
- Efficiency: Now you can use FM and soft clipping without taking exhorbitant CPU cycles, which now allows you to achieve complex sounds without freezing your computer !!
- Many other improvements have been made on the sound..

- For ProTools: the management of the tempo synchronization was not working correctly in all configurations. This problem has now been corrected.
- Pitch bend: On the previous version, the tuning was false when the pitch-bend was at its maximum. This is no longer the case.
- Sample frequency: Switching from one sample frequency to another was hard to manage in some cases. This bug has been corrected.
- Audio Unit: compatibility with the latest versions of Audio Unit and Logic
- Update of the Filter, based on the latest improvements on the TAEŠ algorithms.
Arturia has been quietly churning out some awesome vintage gear, and this along with the CS-80V get my vote as the best synths in my studio. The sound is true-to-life, the interface is exact, right down to the simulated wood-grain. I dig it, man, and if you love the moog, you'll dig it too. Comes with some great banks as well - personally I love using the mellotron banks
