1. Custom Shop: Your New Tone Shop Plug-in
Imagine walking into the most comprehensive store of guitar and bass gear ever made to design the dream rig you have always wanted. Now you can pick and choose stomp boxes, amp heads, speaker cabinets, microphones, rack effects and rare vintage equipment from the hundreds of models available in the online IK Multimedia Custom Shop. This à la carte method of building your rig gives you extreme flexibility in customizing your tone by letting you select exactly the gear you need.
2. Try and buy gear models à la carte 24/7 online
Now you can try the gear before you buy it, and you can purchase models à la carte to create your own customized tone powerhouse. With an active Internet connection, simply click the Custom Shop button and login to see the online Custom Shop home page. There you can browse the vast collection of over 200 gear models including the officially certified models of world-class branded gear from Fender, Orange, Ampeg, Soldano, Gallien-Krueger, Groove Tubes, T-Rex and many more.
3. New gear models and collections
We have added many new models for à la carte purchase in the Custom Shop along with all of the models from the AmpliTube Fender and Ampeg® SVX Collections. You can purchase the AmpliTube Fender and Ampeg® SVX models either as individual à la carte items or as "Collections" inside the Custom Shop.
4. Single gear models cost as low as $3 per model with the new Gear Credits system
Gear models in the Custom Shop are sold using Gear Credits and are priced between 5 and 20 credits each. Credits can be purchased from $1.00 / €0.75 to $0.60 / €0.45 per credit depending on Credit Pack purchased. Gear Credit Packs start as low as $19.99 / €14.99 (for 20 credits) and go up to $299.99 / €224.99 (for 500 credits). Once Gear Credits are loaded into your account, just click the BUY button of the gear model you want to unlock permanently and make it immediately available in AmpliTube 3. You can both TRY and/or BUY multiple models without leaving the Custom Shop, and all the models will then appear as trial or unlocked when you return to AmpliTube 3.
5. New advanced preset and patch management with expanded browser
AmpliTube now contains 4,000 patch locations where you can store presets along with their associated controller information. The preset inside a patch becomes a unique object that can be edited and saved as patch with all of its model parameters separately from the original preset from which it was derived. This also allows you to organize groups of similar presets (such as "Blues") into ranges of patches for convenient recall.
6. Enhanced foot controller integration with StompIO and StealthPedal
The programming of your foot controller for live performance use has never been easier. Now your programming can also be done from within the AmpliTube plug-in and automatically mirrored on the controller for a very fast and convenient way of organizing your uniquely tweaked collection of presets.
7. Improved MIDI controls
You can assign MIDI Program Change numbers to different Patches to create a convenient sequence for live performance without rewriting your patches. You can also assign several MIDI Program Change numbers to the same patch. This way if you have other MIDI gear in your rig, you don't have to save multiple copies of the same patch if the same sound is used in AmpliTube but the other MIDI devices need a different patch. You also assign hardware controller -- knobs, switchs, pedals -- to MIDI continuous controllers and even set a minimum and maximum range for each to customize each controller's behavior.
8. Native compatibility with 64-bit DAWs on MacOS and Windows
AmpliTube now has native support for 64-bit applications and operating systems.
9. Free update for AmpliTube 3 users
Registered users of AmpliTube 3 can download the free 3.5 update from their User Area to get the Custom Shop and all the other new features and enhancements of this latest version.
