Midi Sequencing Application
Midi Grasshopper is a midi sequencing application. A user may create midi files and aiff files for burning on a CD for play back on any CD Player. Midi Grasshopper uses Apple's Audio Units for sound synthesis. The Midi Grasshopper requires a midi keyboard controller. The midi grasshopper does not require a synthesizer. There is a graphic midi event editor for fine tuning recorded events.

- To add a sound font to the Midi Grasshopper you need to get or purchase a sound font and place the sound font in the following directory:
userdirectory/Library/Audio/Sounds/Banks. When you run the Midi Grasshopper and choose New Sequence -> Sound Font Synth from the File menu, the right most popup button should have a selection of sound font files to choose from. Each Sequence may have one sound font.
- The Midi Grasshopper now has a Virtual MIDI keyboard controller. Choose Virtual Keyboard from the Sequence menu to show the keyboard.

- Midi Grasshopper has a menu which a user may choose preset instrumental groups. Some examples are String Quartet, Chorus, Punk Band, Sound Track, Jazz Trio... Each instrumental group has a correct configuration of Track, Channel, and Timbre Number.
- Users may import a Comma Separated Value File into a Track. The format of the .csv file is TimeStamp, Status, Pitch, Velocity. Please see help files for how to create and import a .csv file.
