- A crash could occur when selecting a Metro output of a non-selected track in the tracks window.
- Some problems with subsections have been corrected.
- RNotes (Random Velocity Notes) are supported correctly in the new note edit dialog.
- Changing different plug-ins when in continuous efx automation views could fail to refresh properly in certain instances.
- VST plug-in editor windows would come up blank on the second edit.
- New output is now always created when loading a soft-synth as a track insert.
- Master fader VU is no longer updated for softsynths since the audio level of the softsynth is king.
- Possible crash when stopping playback while direct-recording with software audio thru on.
- Possible crash when expanding subsections with a frozen audio track contained in the subsection.
- Program names loaded from the program names dialog on soft-synths ports were not being remembered correctly since Metro version 6.3.3.
- The Jukebox was creating an internal error if certain OS errors occurred.
- The Subsection edit dialog did not refresh the color swatch after it was changed.

- New: Metro no longer limits its compensation of plug-in latencies to audio packet sizes. Latency compensation is now sample accurate. However for technical reasons, Metro will still not compensate plug-in latencies on aux busses.
- New: A check is performed for audio input selections that out of range and a message is presented if this occurs. Previously an incorrect error message would occur after trying to record. The input select could become out of range if an audio port was changed.
- New: Support for AU's new metering parameter such as the one in Apple's peak limiter in Tiger (10.4).
- Fixed: A recent prerelease introduced a problem with USB audio devices such that audio recording would produce huge and incorrect latencies. This problem has been corrected.
- Fixed: a crash could occur when mixing or rendering a 24 bit source audio file to 16 bits and the sample rate was less than 64k.
- Fixed: A hang could occur if the user selected modify outputs and busses without stopping in certain rare circumstances.
- Fixed: Plug-in latencies were calculated incorrectly when more than one plug-in in a given plug-in chain reported latencies greater than zero.
- Fixed: The jukebox had a problem parsing artist names and album names from the directory path when the path was a volume (e.g. an audio CD).
- Fixed: If presets were mapped to programs for a given plug-in and program changes occurred within a track, the presets were selected at the wrong time when mixing/rendering.
- Fixed: In rare circumstances, software audio through was not always being enabled properly.
- Fixed: Parsing audio files by selecting a jukebox folder was not working properly when in certain cases.
- Fixed: Recording multiple MIDI tracks from different sources may not have been allocating the correct amount of memory.
- Fixed: If multiple MIDI tracks are record enabled and one is switched to audio some weird problems could occur.
- Fixed: When recording while synced to an external clock source the first few events were not always being recorded.
- Fixed: When waiting to record while synced to an external clock source the record button was not flashing appropriately.
- Fixed: special AUDIO + MIDI tracks were not recording audio.
- Fixed: Tempo changes were not always occurring properly the first time upon playback if there were audio tracks (or Soft-synths) and the sync was set to internal in the transport window. The easy work around, setting the sync to audio, is now uneccessary.
