Plug-ins : Meatscience releases Convolution Reverb v1.0 AU for OSX - macmusicMeatscience has announced the release of the Convolution Reverb AU plug-in for Mac OSX 10.5+. Here is how they describe it...

"Meatscience Convolution Reverb AU matches or exceeds Altiverb 6 and IR-1 on accuracy and low-latency while offering similar performance on Intel Macs. This means professional fidelity, an open IR library, and high track counts for $500 less. Apply impulse responses to recreate the unique characteristics of real spaces, speaker cabs, classic amplifiers, stompboxes, or experimental audio effects.

We built an open repository (irlibrary.org) providing an endlessly growing assortment of IRs. Users cansubmit their impulse responses and download impulses from a well-organized, expansive library with server-side convolution allowing instant online preview with a variety of audio signals.

Features :

• Zero-latency
• Fast (SSE Optimized for Intel Macs)
• Live switching between IRs
• Mono, Stereo, and True Stereo (4-channel) IRs supported
• Supports WAV, AIFF, and SDIR IRs
