Clavia released the V. 1.40 of the editor of his G2 synthesizer family. It's packed with: another color scheme possible for coloured impaired persons, a Patch Adjuster which is changing parameters in a patch at a global level, a Patch Mutator which is using interactive evolution to alter settings. Now when you drag a patch cord near the window edge, scrolling will occur, and the "z" key will display the last played note.
In the killed bugs list you find:
- tool tip text in OscMaster course parameter corrected
- Patch Level display in the synth and the editor are the same now.
- G2 stand safe from some modules crowded patches.
- Patches with more than 255 cable segments possible.
- Save As now suggest the entire filename and not only the valid 16 chars.
- Gain in FltStatic when changing between variations where it was in different modes fixed.
- No more Clicking sound in the lowest setting in the built in glide.
- Doing more than 25 simultaneous parameter changes now don't occasionally loose one.
The editor is free from Clavia website and it runs still on OS X 10.2 and 10.3. There's no obvious reason why it shouldn't run in 10.4, and on Macintels (thru Rosetta at worse), though we wait for feedback on these.
