Five12 Inc. today announces the release of Numerology 2.1 for Mac OS X. This release features a new Chord Sequencer module, step recording for sequencers, sequencer groove timing controls, and a major update to the ReWire implementation with full support for Audio Unit plugins.

Other new features in Numerology 2.1 include:

- A Transport Loop
- A Keyboard module which emulates a MIDI keyboard. It can be use for triggering sounds, and for monitoring MIDI note streams.
- A new set of I/O modules for additional flexibility in routing MIDI, Audio and CV signals.
- A new 'step-trigger' option for all sequencers to make it easier to emulate the behavior of analog step sequencers.

And, of course, many general fixes and updates. The complete list of changes can be found in the readme file included with all Numerology installations.

IAnalyse can synchronize the pages of a score (or PDF images) on an audio or video file. You can draw annotations (graphics, texts or images) on the score, the fade in and fade out of these annotations are also synchronized with the audio file. Moving a cursor on the score to the rhythm of music can be drawn very quickly. The fullscreen and export (images or Quicktime movie) functions allow you to show or distribute your work.

The LE version is free and offers the basis for the annotation scores. The Pro version, at 15€, contains many tools useful for musical analysis.
