It's not a phone number, but the number of new Nuendo release. Version "3.2" offers a complex yet flexible new bus system that allows separate mixes to be created for headphones, control room and up to four studios. Nuendo 3.2 also offers even tighter integration and enhanced functionality with hardware control surfaces. All the Control Functions now available in Nuendo 3.2 are mirrored in hardware in the WK Audio ID Controller, a dedicated Nuendo control surface co-engineered by Steinberg. Nuendo 3.2 also enhances support for the Euphonix MC and System-5 MC control surfaces. The release also adds : better quality of Sample Rate Conversion, user definable metering fall back time, and more.

Arturia announces that Brass is now shipping. This new kind of virtual instrument faithfully reproduces the trumpet, saxophone and trombone in real time. It contains an extensive performance-based riff library which is entirely configurable and expandable. Choose, create, import and modify riffs to match your needs. You can also play the modeled instruments directly with a keyboard and other realtime controls. It's so dynamic and easy-to-use that you will never go back to flat sampled riff libraries ever again.

Moog Music has announced another spine-tingling addition to the Moogerfooger line. The Bass MuRF 105B is currently in production and is expected to make its debut at Winter NAMM in January. The MuRF 105B is a new version of the original award winning MuRF that has been voiced specially for any bass instrument. The Bass MuRF will offer a wealth of tone sculpting capabilities. Whether you play synth bass, bass guitar or bass saxophone, the Bass MuRF is ready to rumble.

The MF-105B will sell for $449 and will be available online and in retail locations in December.

Wave Arts announces the release of the new version of MasterVerb reverb processor. MasterVerb 5 now features : early reflection section (halls, rooms, plates, chambers, echo, cathedral, nightclub, ping-pong), two late reverb types, 3-band EQ, envelope control for special effects such as gated and reverse reverb, new visual interface design including a 3-D frequency response plot, time response plot, and early/late damping EQ responses, brand new presets and enhanced preset management, up to 192K support, automate any control via compatible host applications.

MasterVerb 5 (AU/VST/MAS/RTAS) is available for an introductory price of $174.95.

Waves has begun shipping its new Vocal Bundle featuring recently released Tune and DeBreath plug-ins for pitch correction/transposition and breath sound removal. Tune - ReWire powered - contains everything needed for powerful pitch correction and melody transformation, and DeBreath offers users a unique process for separating and removing unwanted breath sounds from vocal tracks. Tune is available for $600, DeBreath is available for $350, and the Vocal Bundle is available for $1,000 (full bundle contains also Renaissance Channel, Renaissance DeEsser, and Doubler).

Registered users of the Waves Update Plan who own eligible bundles will receive Tune LT at no charge. An upgrade to the full version of Tune is offered for $300.

Native Instruments announces that a demo version of the Guitar Rig 2 software is now available. Guitar Rig 2 features 8 amps, 15 guitar and 6 bass cabinets, 4 rotary speakers, 9 microphones with adjustable positioning and over 40 effects. The Guitar Rig 2 demo version is now available as a free download on the NI website.

That's a VERY good news : Apple announces that a firmware update for the PowerMac G5 single-processor 1.8GHz (revB) is finally available. This firmware update fixes issues of this computer when running Tiger : freeze when performing certain video-intensive tasks, optical drive may not eject, internet Connect may become unresponsive or displays may not wake up properly. The Power Mac G5 System Firmware Update is ONLY for the 1.8 GHz, 600MHz bus single-processor Power Mac G5 (Rev B - Late 2004) computer and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later.
