Apple is voluntarily recalling certain lithium ion rechargeable batteries that were sold worldwide from October 2004 through May 2005 for use with the following notebook computers: 12-inch iBook G4, 12-inch PowerBook G4 and 15-inch PowerBook G4. These batteries were manufactured by LG Chem, Ltd. of South Korea. The affected batteries could overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers. The recalled batteries include those with model numbers A1061, A1078, and A1079 and serial numbers that begin with HQ441 through HQ507 and 3X446 through 3X510.
If you have a recalled battery, please stop using it and order a replacement battery immediately.

The first one, Ravity(R) is a Rhythm/Drum sound module featuring 68 preset kit sound, 16 assignable pads/layers, 64 polyphonic/voices per instance, 6 individual stereo outputs, and 1x3 insertion effect slots each stereo output. The second one, Ravity(S) is a a Synth sound module featuring 447 preset sound, 512 polyphonic (256 voices) per instance, 4 layers with independant arpeggiator for each layer.

Lynx Studio Technology has announced that Aurora 16 sixteen-channel A/D D/A converter has been shipping to dealers over the last several weeks. The eight channel Aurora 8 converters have begun delivery the week of May 16. Lynx Aurora converters are now available through Lynx retailers in the US and distributors worldwide.
The eight-channel Aurora 8 has a US suggested retail price of $2195. $3295 is the US suggested retail price of the sixteen-channel Aurora 16.
