MOTU has posted updated drivers for all MOTU FireWire audio interfaces and PCI audio interfaces to make them fully compatible with Panther.
In addition, MOTU has posted an updater for Digital Performer, Version 4.11 (available free of charge to all registered DP4 users), which is required for full Panther compatibility.
Well, the good news is, Digidesign is starting, slowly, to certify Power Mac G5 systems -- the bad news being, the process is slow and Panther compatibility seems far behind, as clouvel has observed. Clouvel is obviously upset and with reason, but I do want to add a few points:
The 001 is incompatible with the Power Mac G5 because of physical incompatibilities with the G5's 3.3 volt-signaling restriction, which does not allow the 001's 5 volt signaling. (See the website below). But the news here is actually even worse: d24 and farm cards from Pro Tools|24 systems are incompatible, as are Pro Tools|24 MIX I/O (not to be confused with MIX Core or MIX Farm). Audiomedia III and SCSI|64 Kit cards are also incompatible, although that's not likely to cause any shed tears.

The Arturia Forum has finally announced a major update of the Storm software for January 2004. According to users in their forums, the update has been anticipated for a long time. The upgrade from version 1.5 to 2.0 is free. Quite a good way to bury the rumor of the death of this software!

MOTU has updated drivers for all its FireWire and PCI audio interfaces, including full Panther support plus new features such as custom input and output names (a featured enabled by Panther) and control surface support for CueMix DSP (pictured), the monitor mixing feature in its newest FireWire and PCI audio hardware. DP 4.11 update is available for free download for all registered DP4 users, a required update for full Panther compatibility, which also boasts new features, including a synthesizer expansion card patch name customization utility, and TDM plug-in menus for Pro Tools hardware users with categorized sub-menus. MachFive is already Panther compatible and needs no upgrade. I sincerely apologize with all the people who had troubles running MiniTAPE. There is a major update downloadable that fixes all the bugs.
In the achive section, you'll find 2 versions of MiniTAPE: fullscreen and floating window version (for all the guys who do not have enough screen resolution).
