The High Fidelity Meter plug-in is available from Sound And Form as a free web download. The High Fidelity Meter is a MultiShell TDM plug-in that supports both Pro Tools HD and MIX hardware. The plug-in can be inserted on mono or stereo tracks anywhere within the plug-in chain and provides two modes of operation. Peak Mode provides a highly responsive display of a signal's instantaneous peak level. RMS Mode, similar to a VU meter, gives a better representation of an audio signal's perceived loudness.
