Steinberg "Groove Agent" is shipping from Friday, May 2nd. The new VSTi by the development team behind "Virtual Guitarist": Groove Agent, a drummer who plays live, dynamic drums at the press of a button. Groove Agent, Steinberg's virtual drummer, can play almost all the most famous drum styles from decades of music history with a breathtaking energy and authenticity.

Wave Arts released Macintosh OS X VST and MAS support for their full line of plug-ins:
- MasterVerb OS X MAS/VST
- TrackPlug OS X MAS/VST
- WaveSurround OS X MAS/VST

The first MAS plug-ins line available for DP4. :-p

The RTAS and VST OSX version of Trilogy and Atmosphere are now alailable to download on the Spectrasonics website. For Stylus and Audio units, we will still need to wait a bit !

Edirol has released downloadable PCR Editor software for use with the Edirol PCR-30 & PCR-50 USB MIDI Keyboard Controllers. The PCR-Editor allows for extensive and convenient control of the PCR keyboards from a Mac. The PCR-Editor is designed to assist in creating control maps for the PCR and allow users to quickly & easily make assignments to any of the 27 assignable controls. This powerful software also allows the user to copy system exclusive messages for the PCR into a sequence so the controls can be mapped or changed during a sequence. In addition to offering easy implementation of different MIDI messages, the PCREditor also allows the user to specify minimum & maximum values for each control. The PCR-Editor is available as a free download from the Edirol website at www.edirol.com and supports Mac8.6-9.x & OS X.
