Music Software : Logic Platinium for OSX - macmusicThe first version of Logic Platinum for OS X is coming out. It will allow the users to use a single software package combining digital audio recording and editing, digital signal processing, software instruments, MIDI sequencing and music notation, on a next generation operating system.

OS X also contains the foundation for a new generation of potent music and audio applications. Many technologies necessary for such applications are already built-in, such as the "CoreMIDI", "CoreAudio", "Audio Units" standards, as well as support for high-resolution audio including 32 Bit floating-point data.
